Professional Client Communication
Communicate with clients clearly from first enquiry to final delivery: discovery calls, emails, presenting work, handling feedback and difficult conversations.
About this course
Most client problems are communication problems. This course covers the full client conversation: answering enquiries, running a discovery call, confirming scope in writing, presenting work with a rationale, gathering consolidated feedback, handling scope creep and difficult conversations, and closing a project well. Each lesson comes with message templates you adapt to your own voice.
Who it’s for: Freelancers and in-house creatives who work directly with clients or stakeholders. No prior client experience needed.
You will be able to
- Run a structured discovery call and summarise it in a written recap
- Present creative work with a clear rationale tied to the brief
- Request and consolidate client feedback into actionable revisions
- Handle scope creep and difficult conversations calmly and in writing
